Northwest 5 days with Sin Ho unexplored Sunday market

Day 01: Ha Noi – Hoa Binh - Mai Chau – Son La

AM

- 07h00 pick up at hotel for our Northwest Loop

 - Heading Mai Chau for the first visit to the white Thai minority

- Get to know their daily life and special architecture of stilt houses

- Enjoy lunch in Mai Chau

- Afterwards strolling throughout narrow lanes of Lac and Pom Coong village of the White Thai

 PM

- Follow the road number 6 to Moc Chau. Moc Chau is a mountain town at the elevation of 1500 m above the sea, home to the green H’Mong, the Dzao and the Muong ethnic minorities and famous for Its plantations of green tea and dairy cow

- After a quick stop then continue our trip to to Son La town

- Dinner and overnight in Son La

Day 02: Son La – Tuan Giao – Dien Bien Phu – Sin Ho

AM

- Breakfast at the hotel then we drive to visit the Colonial Prison of French

- A special drive over the Pass named Fadin Pass, the pass with 20km long, where the earth meets the heaven. From here you can enjoy the 3600 view of the Northwest

- Visit some local hill tribes village on the way

- Head down to Dien Bien Phu valley for lunch

Dien Bien Phu old battle field and the war remnant museum, the A1 hill  and the Martyr’s cemetery for who died in the war and the bunk of the General De Castry….

AM

- Drive to Muong Lay and then up to Sin Ho – the remote town of Vietnam. You will obtain the most magnificent landscapes and discover the unexplored areas and especially for the Typical minority market on weekly Sunday

- Dinner and overnight in the remote town of Shin Ho.

Day 03: Sin Ho market - Tam Duong – Sa Pa

AM

Full morning for Sin Ho market. Visit the market, meet and talk with the local people in their origin of friendly culture and traditional costumes, can say that all are still unexplored by tourist and commercialized

Independently attend the market that known as the most remote ethnic market of all Northwest Vietnam. It is a fusion of many different hill tribes inhabiting in Sin Ho district but you can easily distinguish them by their different colorful costume dressing

- Attend the market, you will find out not only typical traditional costume but also the way of bartering trade existing in daily life of the Tay, the Dzay, the Red Dzao, the Black H’mong…

After the market we continue our trip on the hidden loop to Tam Duong for lunch

PM

- Drive on the thread road up to the Heaven Gate for universal view of Lai Chau and Sapa and Hoang Lien Son mountain range with Fansipan summit of 1343m high

- Afternoon arrive in Sapa

- Check in hotel then free time to relax and stroll around Sapa

- Dinner and overnight in Sapa

Day 04: Sapa – Trekking - Homestay

AM

Sa Pa Trekking to 4 villages: Ylinh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van – 
5-7 hrs trekking throughout 4 hamlets - visit 2 different kinds of minority.

- Breakfast at the hotel then check out the hotel

- Car take us to Ylinh Ho village for our mountain light trek to YlinhHo and Lao Chai village, visit the black H’mong minority village and spectacular scenery of terraced paddies on both sides of Muong Hoa stream with the simple rattan suspending bridges in scatter

PM

- After a picnic lunch, keep on alongside Muong Hoa stream, over suspension bridges to Ta Van village of the Dzay people.

- Keep trekking to Cau May (Rattan Suspension bridge) - Giang Ta Chai I. Visit and stay overnight with a local family of the Dzay minority

- With your tour guide and the house owners, we will set up a temporary cooking class to learn how to cook Vietnamese food for dinner.

- Enjoying your dinner and getting to know local typical traditional customs, cultural….

Day 05: Sapa Trekking – Night train back to Hanoi

Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sa Pa

4 - 5hrs trekking with surprises at what you have never seen before

In the early morning you will be sure to be woken up by the households but lucky to see how is their daily life for a new day coming!

- Enjoy some pancakes made by your tour guide’s skillful hands.

- Start a new trek into Hoang Lien Son National Park by more stunning landscapes and other ethnic minority villages dotted further your eyes sigh. Visit Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dao minority and then continue that trail to Su Pan village for lunch

- Enjoy magnificent view of Ba Ho valley or visit some local houses of the Tay

PM

- 14h00 our car to return you to Sapa

- Take a room at our hotel to refresh up

- 17h50 transfer down to Lao Cai station for the night train to Hanoi at 20h10

- Dinner at some restaurant in front of the station. Sleep on the train for  8 hours to reach Hanoi at 05h00 next morning
