DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01: Hanoi – Lao Cai (Night Train)

·        Pre-departure: You are welcome to visit the Vega Travel office to store your luggage or take a refreshing shower before your trip.

·        20:30 - 20:45: Our tour guide will transfer you to Hanoi Railway Station.

·        21:00: Check-in at the station.

·        22:00: The train departs for Lao Cai. Enjoy an 8-hour overnight sleep in a comfortable 4-berth air-conditioned cabin.

·        Inclusive services: Transfer to station, train ticket.

Day 02: Sa Pa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai (Homestay)

·        06:00: Arrive at Lao Cai Station. Pick-up and drive up to Sa Pa town for breakfast and a quick shower.

·        Morning Trek: Descent to Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai, home to the Black H’mong people.

·        Afternoon: After a picnic lunch, trek along the Muong Hoa stream to Ta Van village (Dzay people) and continue to Giang Ta Chai.

·        Evening: Join a local cooking class with your host family. Enjoy dinner and learn about unique traditional customs. Stay overnight at a local homestay.

·        Inclusive services: Transfer, English-speaking guide, homestay permit, meals (B, L, D).

Day 03: Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sa Pa (Hotel Stay)

·        Morning: Enjoy freshly made pancakes for breakfast. Start a new trek into Hoang Lien Son National Park. Visit the Red Dao minority in Giang Ta Chai before trekking to Su Pan village for lunch.

·        Afternoon: Enjoy magnificent views of Ba Ho Valley, then a car will take you back to Sa Pa town.

·        Evening: Check into your hotel. Enjoy "free and easy" time to explore Sa Pa at your own pace.

·        Inclusive services: Transfer, tour guide, 3-star Hotel (Vista/Panorama or similar), meals (B, L).

Day 04: Sa Pa – Sa Xeng – Hau Thao – Lao Cai – Hanoi (Night Train)

·        Morning: Drive to Sa Xeng for an uphill trek to Hau Thao village. This area is untouched by mass tourism, offering an authentic look into Black H’mong daily life.

·        Afternoon: After lunch in the village, continue trekking before the car returns you to the hotel for a shower.

·        Evening: Transfer to Lao Cai Station for the overnight train back to Hanoi.

·        Inclusive services: Tour guide, transfer, entrance fees, train ticket, meals (B, L).

Day 05: Arrival in Hanoi

·        05:30: The train arrives at Hanoi Station. Tour ends.

·        Inclusive services: None.
