Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pu Luong – Ninh Binh - Tam Coc 4 Days

Day 01: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Mai Hich hamlet – Mai Hich Homestay

In the morning:

• 08:00 pick up at your hotel for a drive of 3 hours to Mai Chau
• Stopover on the way to admire the beautiful landscapes at Thung Khe pass (the white rock pass) for a big view of the red river delta
• Lunch at the homestay on arrival

In the afternoon:

• Ride a bike on the paths on the rice paddies among mountains though the local villages.
• Visit a local family to get to know their daily life and typical culture characters of the White Thai minority.
• Enjoy dinner and enjoy the tranquil night in the minority village of the White Thai people.

Day 02: Mai Hich – Pu Luong – Overnight in Pu Luong 

In the morning:

• Breakfast at the homestay
• 09:00 leave Mai Hich for Pu Luong
• Stopovers on the way to visit some ethic minority villages
• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
• Check in the resort on arrival – resting for a while.

In the afternoon:

• Starting the afternoon trip following the small road through the terrace rice and sugar cane fields, cross the Hanging Bridges to visit other remote rural villages of Thai Ethnic. Stop at the giant waterwheels, ducks farm to learn about the agriculture
• Dinner and overnight in Pu Luong

Day 03: Pu Luong Trekking – Ninh Binh – Overnight in Tam Coc – Tam Coc Bungalow

In the morning: Medium Trek in Kho Muong village and explore Bat Cave

• Breakfast at the resort
• 08:00 We start easy trekking following the small roads through the terrace rice fields and cross the stream to visit remote rural villages of Black Thai Minorities to learn about the local people in Pu Luong.
• Explore Doi Cave (Bat cave) of Kho Muong village, this is the largest cave in Pu Luong. (Depending on the weather condition).
• On the way, you will meet local people showing their welcome by smiling to you.
• Having lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon: Pu Luong – Tam Coc

• 13:00 leave Pu Luong for Ninh Binh – Tam Coc with stopover on the way for photos…
• 16:00 arrive in Tam Coc

• Check in Tam Coc accommodation
• Ride a bike to Bich Dong (Jade Cave) for a visit to the complex of three ancient pagodas built on mountain cliff (the Lower, Middle and Upper pagoda). Enjoy the scenery of Bich Dong from the top.
• Enjoy the sunset falling on Tam Coc
• Dinner and enjoy a peaceful night in Tam Coc

Day 04: Tam Coc boat trip – Mua Cave – Hoa Lu temple – Hanoi

In the morning:

• 08:00 breakfast
• 08:30 start our full day discovery tour
• Firstly when tourists not yet to come, we will take a rowing sampan trip along the meandering canals (2pax in one) throughout 3 tunnel grottoes called “ Tam Coc”, enjoying the stunning landscape of  mountains, canals, rice paddies and rural villages among the National Natural Reserve zone that is known to people as Halong Bay on ground
• After the sampan trip.  More highlight by from here we ride our bicycles through the farming villages to discover the Real Vietnam and rural Culture. Sometimes you can stopover to visit or take photos… on the way biking to Hoa Lu
• Visit Mua cave, hike up on the Dragon’s back to the peak of Mua Cave for the universal view of Tam Coc – Trang An – Hoa Lu ancient capital landscape
• Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from the year of 968 to 1010 -  a worth visit to the two left old temples of the Dinh and Le king. Learn about the history of country foundation of the Great Viet …

In the afternoon:

        - Drive back to Hanoi

        - 17:00 arrive in Hanoi – End the tour at your hotel
